Inspired by the drapery of the statue of Aphrodite at the Altes Museum in Berlin, the Aphrodite collection designed by Giovanni Luca Ferreri emulates the grace and elegance of the goddess through chandeliers that seem to be fabrics of light.
Pendant lamp with crystal spheres on silk thread sewn by hand
These light fixtures use the Venetian conteria technique, an ancient method, protected by UNESCO, which involves weaving the pearls entirely by hand on a silk thread.
In honor of tradition, this technique, in Italy, is used only by Patrizia Volpato who wanted to bring it back into fashion by inserting it into the world of design. Other details, however, are made with 3D printing, adding that touch of distinctive innovation.
The Aphrodite collection transforms space with its luminous drape, blending ancient art and modern design in a perfect harmony of light and beauty.
