The competition “Venetian Smart Lighting Award” with this new edition 2021 again wants to elect the best products and solutions within the lighting sector expressly created by Venetian companies that are part of the network “Luce in Veneto”, promoter of such event.

The main aim is to give value to creativity and to reward the ability to design and innovate within the production of lighting items and solutions, also with reference to smart lighting, in relation to what the actual network wants to develop.

The jury

The Jury that declares the winners for each category is composed of important professionals belonging to the lighting sector as well as well-recognized lighting designers. Their evaluation considers aesthetical and artistic criteria of the nominated products yet not only that: also functionality and efficiency are in fact some important aspects for the final judgement.

The participation of Patrizia Volpato

With our latest innovative and original lighting collections, the team of Patrizia Volpato attended the renowned Award presenting four lighting design products that are the result of an important creative research.

In particular, the products signed by Patrizia Volpato that were nominated in this famous competition are taken from the Collections 2020: Illusion, Luna Nuova, Stone and Vela.

Within the different categories of this edition 2021, two of our products have been appointed as finalists: here below are all the details!



From the collection Stone, in the category “Best decorative lighting item for contract use”, our team presented the item 7802/S, a totally handcrafted chandelier that combines glass and aluminum to create a mysterious design product with a great impact.

From the collection Luna Nuova in the category "Best design decorative lighting item", our team submitted a sculptural floor lamp, 7500/LT, composed of four discs in precious alabaster that recall the brightness of the moon during a dark night.
